Women's Rights

I strongly support women's reproductive rights as well as a woman's right to privacy and dignity in such matters. The government should not be involved in reproductive decisions. Such decisions between a woman and her doctor. Woman should enjoy safe and legal access to abortion.

I support the CARE Act requiring emergency rooms to provide emergency contraception to victims of rape.

I support equal work for equal pay. Women must be assured equality in the workplace. This must apply to both opportunity for advancement and to compensation.

I support enforcement of laws against domestic violence; sexual assault; sexual harassment
